Never justify it if you wouldnt for another fighter, floyd will boast he broke marciano record post fight watch, so domt say its not a legacy fight. If he wanted a money grab and didnt want it to count on his boxing record he would have done a modified rules bout like bkb or something., he is actually fighting a guy who has never boxed pro before in a 12 round sanctioned bout, while dissing ali previously for fighting an olympic gold medal winner with only 7 fights and losing, and at the same time saying they would never let me fight a guy with 7 pro fights.

I'm referring to Floyd's argument in regards to the main topic of ali being glorified as the greatest.

Floyd said he lost to a guy with 7 fights, he never knocked him for fighting him in the first place. Just that he lost to him.

            Like hell he could have.

            This IS a cash grab.

Biggest name in boxing against the biggest name in MMA (who's never boxed professionally).

He's not making that kind of money in a goddamn bareknuckle boxing match.

That was an exhibition, not a sanctioned fight. Big difference. Floyd will actually earn a 50th win on his record for this garbage.

We wont ague about this. I said that, but totally agree that even if I love the way he fights, mayweather is going full clown with this fight and he's tainting his profesional career.

worst part is when other fighters avoid non lucrative fights like lara or rigo they raise hell and accuse them of ducking. lara actually called out mayweather and first thing that came out of floyd fans mouth was "he brings no money to the table doe, he's boring."

and if you go with this ****** "money grab" excuse, everyone will pretty much have excuses and keep on picking only fights that make them the most money. in his case he's already a multi millionaire, why is money still his reason for fighting? it's sooo stooopid from a fan standpoint. it should never be uttered by any true fan of the sport.
