It's been stated at least 5 times in this thread alone that he brought it up because Ali lost to him, not because he took a fight with someone with 7 fights. If Floyd loses to McGregor then this argument makes more sense. This is a terrible thread.

no, ali was brought up as the greatest, that's when floyd brought up the lost to a guy with 7 fights, so how can ali be view as the greatest. floyd didnt bring ali up because ali lost to a guy with 7 fights. ali was being talked about as the greatest, that's when floyd brought up the lost.
