Mayweather will always insist he is the best boxer in history. He isn't the first or the last boxer with a big ego to say that about himself. He probably is one of the best boxers in history but I don't think is the the best or even one of the 10 best. Most fans and experts will always rank Ali above him and I guess that really pisses him off.

Floyd got mad at Stephen A smith and told him Ali was glorified yet he fought a guy with 7 fights, and lost to him,and said they would never put me in with a guy with 7 fights.

He dissed Ali for losing to the guy more than actually fighting him. And he was right, they would have never put him in with a guy witht that kind of record.

It's different now though. He aint in the top 10 p4p rankings anymore, he aint holding belts any more, he aint in his prime anymore, hell, he aint even boxing anymore (retired).

So for him to fight a guy like this, at 40 years old, without being in any rankings or holding a title, having not fought in 2 years, aint a big deal.

Only the usual crowd are crying, and we all know why.
