Exactly. Upwards trajectory. It brings the whole protective cup upwards and that's what hurts.
You say beltline yet in the still you can see it clearly below the beltine. And Kovalev's belly button is clearly visible, so any point below is illegal by boxing rules. But you can see that it is even lower the white line, it is in the black zone between the two logos. When you bend forward, does your d**k move? No it does not move. The upper body moves. The d**k does not. Try it out.

This is a lost cause LOL, I'm out.

Having read through the argument, the initial assertion which started this is that the first punch was what did the damage. Its utterly ridiculous to think that, it is a grazing shot at best.

The two shots that actually land after are the shots that do the damage, I know why Kovalev was hurt because they landed on his bladder and it is such a sensitive area. Literally if you push your finger down in that area you can feel how sensitive it is, I have been punched there and it is ridiculously painful.

      Anyway funny thread and convo...enjoy!

No it isn't. It's clearly landing on the white belt line. Something travelling up at an angle is going to cover below where is lands. Kovalev leaning over also furthers the effect. You really are dumb.

And you can't even see a belly button you, i see a shadow.

It is at best a grazing shot, this is the most ******ed ****ing thing I have seen on here and that is saying something.

That is not what caused the damage, it is the two shots after which are between the naval and where your d i c k starts. It is one of the most painful places to get hit, that is where your bladder is, I have been hit there, and I was not right for 1 week.
Below the navel is illegal. Bladder is illegal in boxing.
The navel is the beltline in boxing.... FFS

The irony is that none of the Kovalev boys ever mention the flush body shots Ward landed in the eighth round. For example, the shots to the liver and rib cage that was doubling Sergey over. Moreover, not to mention the pull right hand counter he landed that nearly decapitated him.

All they want to focus on is that last low blow he landed that was clearly illegal prior to the stoppage but none of them ever mention how defeated and broken Kovalev looked while absorbing those shots from Andre. The bottom line is he quit. He simply checked out by that point and wanted out.

He wasn't fighting back or protecting himself not nearly enough, in order to justify Tony Weeks not stopping that fight.

Today I learned If the punch didn't hit the bottom of your balls, then it wasn't a low blow.

Tony Weeks said belt line was OK

This is on the belt line

I know this is a difficult concept to grasp but if you expend a little mental effort maybe you'll get it

Part of the glove is on the white line, part of the glove is on the HUBLOT logo. When part of a glove is below the line, it is illegal. But please go ahead and bend all rules since it is Ward. the final three blows were also beltlines, huh?
