ward fans "there were no low blows!"

I didn’t intentionally try to hit that man low,” Ward said

look pretty silly now dont you?

i dont believe him personally but it doesnt matter if he intented to go low or not. he did. the ref even said the bottom of the belt was low and then ignored his own rules. shocking corruption and people defending it because they like a guy more than they care about corruption

      Body work.

      He can't take it.

You saw that in the first fight.

you know what would have stopped the rabbit punches? stop clinching and problem solved! the ref should have addressed this but like in every single ward fight he stood there and let it happen.

basically what ward is saying is i should be allowed to cheat and its not fair when he cheats back. ward got the final say by cheating and throwing a low blow barrage before kovalev could retaliate. this is what boxing has come to. who can get off their cheat moves first

Why wont you relate to the issue?

Come on now. Legal or illegal bodywork?

Had Kovalev hit Ward with the same punches, the narritive would be, "That's what he gets. If he wasn't so soft it wouldn't matter. He was milking it anyway."
But, no way can these guys wrap their heads around Kovalev being the one who got folded so they reject what they saw with their own eyes and spin the "he cheating" fable.

ward got away with a ton of low blows in the first fight and he just picked up where he left off. hes trying to create false equivalencies just lke his fanboys. well he was rabbit punching...yes because you were clinching. take away the clinching and no rabbit punching. this is why the ref is so important and the ref is always sh-it when ward fights. kessler, bika, rodriguez, kovalev. they suddenly dont know the rules.

It was a bad stoppage. Kov never had to beat 10 count.
Ref should have warned kov our given him a chance he may stop it. It was so out of blue.

That's why the ref told him to keep fighting.
