What deal did she get Kovalev? Him not getting a guaranteed purse had nothing to do with anyone else, it was all on her.

Well I guess he has a manager as well.

But yeah that deal. The first deal stunk for him too.

How do you get a guy who's been on HBO for years, champion for years - not a single penny guarantee in a PPV fight.

She must be the worst business woman ever or completely broke. Which would explain why she whined like a girl in the whole build up and post fight.

Every fighter on PPV gets a guaranteed purse plus part of the PPV if it reaches certain sales. The thing with Duva is that she didn't even give Kovalev that. The reason that is so bad is because HBO pays each camp some guaranteed money in all PPV fights and especially between big fight's. Duva then says I'm not giving Kov a guaranteed purse but 75% of the revenue we make. So where is all that money HBO gave her directly at? because the revenue is the money they make on fight night, not the money HBO gives them.

Big name fighters usually get guaranteed purse + share of revenue (gate, tickets, etc) + share of PPV revenue. All those shirts that people wore inside the arena, the popcorn and the drinks, even the ticket prices the fighters should have got a part of that and the only fighter who did was Ward.

Duva literally scammed Kovalev out of making 2-3 million more dollars. If he got his fair share of everything he woulda made around 3-4 million instead of 2 million. So my question is where did that other 1-3 million go? probably to that *****es new office and her new assistants.
