In soccer, acting like you've been fouled to get your opponent in trouble is a fundamental. Flopping in basketball is part of the game. I'm not fond of either but they are accepted and even applauded.

In boxing, you 'save face' by fighting back. If you are too hurt to immediately continue, you take a knee or you clinch. You do NOT clutch at your cods and try to get the ref to penalize the opponent for hitting you in the balls, which he clearly did not and Kova clearly knew he didn't.

I've been in the ring, thank you. When it came time to take an ass-whupping, I did. No one who has ever been in the ring would tell you that acting like you got hit in the balls is an acceptable response to not being able to take a legal body shot.

A thing is what it is. It is not something else. We all know what he did. No reason to sugar-coat it.
