Got my first dose of UFC last night...

Wow, is this **** pathetic or what? First of all, every fight ends in a guillotine choke or some ****. They kick each other's legs as if it's a macho thing to do. The judges don't know how to score rounds because most fights in submissions or knockouts. I mean this stuff is as anticlimactic as it gets. I can't believe the people I watched it with shelved out 50 bucks to watch this garbage. I didn't see one fight that had me entertained in the slightest, especially the joke of a main event. The Hughes guy beat up a dude they referred to as "legendary" who hadn't fought in 10 years. Real macho, bro. The fight that pissed me off the most was this guy named Sanchez getting a decision against a guy named Allesio I believe it was, and it was complete bull****. Allesio dominated him with nothing more than a jab for the first two rounds, and the third round Sanchez humped his back, winning the round on aggression/excessive gayness. To make matters worse, I'm watching it with my friend's stepdad and his bud, and these two old losers are talking about the fighters by their first names as if they knew anything about them. Every fight they predicted the wrong guy, which I thought was HILARIOUS considering you can't possibly know how good a fighter is when the most any fighter on the whole show had fought was like 16 times other than the guys in the main event, LOL. If any of you watch this ****, I feel very sorry for you. No offense or anything, but this was easily the biggest waste of time I spent this year as far as watching sporting events goes.

Oh I just wanted to add that everytime the fight got boring (and this happened every single fight), the commentators would talk about how the sport had "evolved" and thus was less entertaining, LOL!!

LOL sounds exactly like the two older guys that were at my friend's place. They talked like they were gay, I swear to God, commenting on the fighters' bods and saying **** like, "this guy needs a bra". I was like, damn I have no respect for these fighters but I'm not gonna act like I'm in better shape than they are. I really wanted to leave the entire ppv to go to a party, but I stayed because my bud watches a lot of boxing fights with me. I think he realized last night how gay UFC is compared to boxing. Boxing brings the drama and isn't mindless fighting like this UFC **** is.

yeah, i don't understand it either. someone at boxrec post a video clip link to huges v. gracie and i was very disapointed with the fight, once they started hugging on the ground i just closed the thread looks like wrestling with some fighting.

Yeah the main event was domination, but pretty exciting. Sanchez is a *****, but i enjoyed the vera and swick fights, i really like vera.
But yeah, boxing is so much better its unreal.
