Walk into a MMA school and spar with guys who have trained a year or 2, and you will be lucky to last 30 seconds before tapping.

And you think I am the only person that thinks MMA guys beat pure boxers 9/10? You live in a small bubble. Ignorance must be your bliss.
There is just no way you can honestly tell me that graice would beat tyson.
    it just wouldnt happen.

boxers are more skilled then MMA'ers, and using one boxer as proof doesnt work, becuase there are so many other skilled fighters.

Sorry, but I cant take karate seriously anymore.
Most of the asian martial arts evolved into a from of ritual dance.
Also, most of the martial arts were developed by peasants to fight armed opponent.
Maybe 2 hundred years ago they were the next best thing after sliced bread, but now, I dont really see how they got more skill than boxing. same way you can say that ballerina got more skill than a fighter but this is comparing apples and oranges.
i took jeet kune do karate is nothing

        • I've been to alot of forums but I would have to say the intellect level on this forum is one of the lowest I have ever seen. The opinions of you boxers leave me almost speechless. You really need get out into the real world. The bottom line is a b level mma artist will beat a boxing champion in a no rules fight 10 out of 10 times. I know if sucks that your sport is dying and you want to hang on as long as you can. MMA is here to stay and will soon surpass your wannabe fighting sport in popularity.
p.s. wished i could meet up with some you boxers and we could have a little seminar.

Wrong argument, you take the worst of our sport against the best of yours.
That dude lost to Rydell Booker, for Christ's sake.
I wanna see what will your Gracie guy can do, when somebody like Tyson will knock on him.
Hell, I bet he wont even see the punch coming.
And you dont really see the martial artists start boxing, even though, boxing clearly offers more money.

look i'm not talking about MMA . MMa is more wrestling then anything wrestling no i would not say takes more skill .....learning martial arts does and i'm not saying it would win a fight with a boxer just that it takes more time to learn ... more skill is involved

Explain what exactly is the skill of martial arts.
                What takes them so long?
Is it physical conditioning, moves, what?
