Terry Smith really isn't that bad of a fighter. He has sparred with a lot of top heavyweights and he gave Calvin Brock (his only loss) a tough fight in a losing effort as well.

This should be a better indicator of how much Briggs can bring to the table. Better than Abraham Okine at least

Most likely this fight will happen in Sept. and will take place in Ark. on Stacy Goodson's heavy weight slug out card. Unbeaten HW JD Chapman will be on the card against George Garcia. JD's bout with Jimmy Matz is still on for July.

I saw the Koval fight. Briggs was blown up big time so he's going to have to drop some of that weight. Granted he looked buff as hell, but 273 is too heavy.

Briggs has to do what he has to do to stay busy bro. Hirsch is busting his ass trying to find fighters to fight him but they eaither back out or price themselves out of the fight.

Briggs really hasn't impressed me with his choice of opponants. But like you said, top contenders will have to start fighting him. I just don't see him winning against any of the top contenders that I have seen fight.
