I don't even think they looked at it, at least not with headphones.

Punch was clearly after the bell. How the hell they missed that is unacceptable.

I dont like ward but he deserves an unquestionable win, he worked his butt for it, performed well and delivered. Not 100%, but it looked like the fight was really going his way when it was stopped, but let's not stick to theories and what will be and what could've been, instead let's see it, let them fight.

Kovalev was also robbed of a comeback, yes it's likely he's tired and was hurt but we said the same to all the great comebacks that ever happened. not 100% but has a chance.

Fans from both sides now dealing with nonsense debates.
A clean win is acceptable even to the highest nhugger in the planet, one he cant debate about and the referee took that away.
Ref should of given a 10 count. It's not Wards fault but the refs. I'd of liked too see Ward finish him. (It was going to happen). The writing was on the wall and everyone saw the writing. Yes, the blow was low. It happens.
Kovalev takes a great head shot but really can't handle A LEGAL BODY SHOT. It showed in both fights. Ward went after the body, AS HE SHOULD. Kovalev lost the fight.
Ward wasn't looking for his balls like the Trinidad/ Vargas fight. Ward isn't that way. It's funny. In fights where two non white guys throw low blows repeatedly. No one seems to care and DECISIONS are NEVER changed.
Kovalev fans need to get over it. He's a great fighter too. His biggest weakness is his boxing IQ. He's talented as hell. Never seen anyone hit Ward so EASILY.
WARD was eating some ruff shots but kept coming.

Do you guys know what a low blow is? Kov trunks were high (cuz he knew he couldn't take body shots) and Weeks told them anything on the belt is legal.

Use your energy for something more constructive.

Do you guys think Kov got Ward a Father's day gift?

quit? the video is right above you for ***s sake. Ward hit him 3 times in the nuts and the ref stopped it. its on video, its right above you, its undeniable but somehow in fantasy land kov quit?
Don't need to see a video, I watched the fight live. The last body shot was low but not intentional, the rest were on the belt or borderline. I meant that Kov quit mentally. It was obvious he wanted out when he started complaining about the legal body shots.......

This is crazy, Weeks has always (at least in my opinion ) been fair with "most " of his calls but this has some shade of controversy no doubt.

Kovalev was tired but he was still swinging, getting hit 3 times low while tired really takes it out of you. Isn't the rule to give time to fighters after getting hit low for that exact reason, because there isn't much you can do when you get hit in the balls.
The referee didn't recognize the shots as being low, so he didn't step in to halt it for a foul. Perhaps the shot was a tad low. It definitely wasn't the same as the blow Mayweather took which was entirely below the belt-line.

Ward could still have won this fight even without the ****ty stoppage, since Kovalev was gassing real fast, but Kovalev deserves better than this.

I think you do need to see the video because the last two body shots were extremely hard and clearly low, Intentional or not. Generally after a low blow the fighter gets up to a 5 minute rest period, not worrying whether or not the referee Is going to wave the fight off.

Although I agree that Kovalev was done and would have most likely been caught eventually.
