Thing is... if Weeks actually does his job and takes a point from Ward and give 5 mins to Kovalev Ward would have most likely still won anyway as Kovalev was totally gassed.

Instead we got this... an the fact people are trying to actually justify it shows that they aren't really boxing fans because in no way was this outcome good for the sport.

This is the exact stance every boxing fan should take. Its a sport, regardless of who you were rooting for, or if you were rooting for nobody, you should always root for both guys to get far treatment and officiating.

The evidence is more than conclusive that not only were the shots low, but that Tony Weeks had clear view of them as well.

Kovalev should have gotten his 5 minutes at the least. Maybe ward should have been deducted a point also considering that he landed 3 in a row, but atleast given a hard warning that the next one would be a point.

Hmmm idk maybe I'll have to watch it slow-mo'd or when I'm sober. But to me in the gif it looks like at least half of his glove is below the belt at the point of impact and that your screen cap is after the impact.
