The last shot of the sequence was clearly low. Max somehow referred to it as borderline.

A point off was probably the most appropriate line of action. At the very least give Sergey a breather rather than stopping it. Weeks must not have seen that the shot was low for him to make that call. I was surprised that I did not hear them interview Weeks after the fight (or if they did, I missed it) about that.

Anyway, wouldn't have mattered. Kov was done well before the punch in that gif landed and would have been clean stopped if the fight continued.
