This is the truth: Kovalev was hurt all round from punches to the head, the last right hand before the barrage of punches on the belt line really had Kovalev ready to call it quits. The brutal body punch on the belt line made Kovalev sit down on the ropes. But Kovalev was already looking defeated at least around before that. Great performance by Ward, good effort by Kovalev but his stamina looked like **** after the 4th round.Comment

Kovalev was hit low several times...but it didn't really matter. As soon as he started to tire again, he began to unravel. You could see it on his face between rounds. ****ty stoppage and ****ty way to end a fight tho. Sometimes i think people who say fighters don't have the same toughness of fighters from the padt are on to something.Comment

Kovalev was hit by a lowblow beginning of round 8, referee waved it off and said to keep fighting, he was still hurt and started taking some shots, and then 3 lowblows ended it.Comment
