Kovalev fans still crying, Your boy quit! In the post fight interview he was half assed when asked for a rematch. Looked like he knew Ward has his number. Even if they fight the 3rd time, no way Kovalev makes it.

True that....He was on the doorstep of a KO and decided to buy time by trying to get the ref to help him with fake low blows. You can clearly see it was on the belt line.....second time tonight that shiat backfired on the fighter!

That statement isn't true at all.your past critical at this point he beat kov stopped him the that shot hurt him bad that L was inevitable at that point.

Ward just got away with a slick one.

Now, I agree that the fight was close again and had Kovalev up again when he got caught hard. But, he recovered and started taking low blows. The ref blew the call. He got hit directly on the Hublot badge right in front of his cup. It wasn't even borderline like commentary was saying. This was an early stoppage period. I'm disgusted at boxing once again.

The Rigo fight was another example of why instant replay really needs to be added to this sport. Let's take these old a55 idiots with questionable eyes out of the final decisions on these fighters lives.

There's always controversy involved in Ward's fights. Given the personality he portrays outside the ring, one wouldn't expect him to be such a dirty fighter.

Maybe one or two was low but not all of them. The body attack definitely turned things in Ward's favor.

"One or two." Do you realize how biased you sound? The one that set up the right hand that actually hurt Kovalev was low. The only one we have a clear angle of during the finish afterwards was low, and the other two we only see from Kovalev's back also looked low. That means likely all 4 important "body" shots that led to and eventually stopped the fight were low, and at least two of them were for sure, between 2 and 4.

Not to mention, it only takes one and the ref is supposed to warn the fighters and give Kovalev five minutes. It's ridiculous man but I guess you're a Ward fan. Whatever man enjoy it, and enjoy every other victory that will come in the future, meaning every single fight. If you like connected fighters like Ward, you should be happy every day in boxing because you will win every single time. It is set up for them to win, so they will, even when they don't. Even without the stoppage, the two establishment Vegas judges were going to score it for Ward anyway, even though Kovalev should have been ahead in my opinion, just like the first fight.

One way or another, these fighters will always get the win. Rule #1 in Vegas: the house always wins. So enjoy it.

Kovalev got hit with 3 straight low blows at the end . About 8 or 9 through the fight and Weeks never bothered to warn or deduct points ?

Dirty fight on both sides, if you like grappling, holding ,hugging this your fight .
Otherwise,crap fight , crap refereeing and a stain to boxing .

Seriously, if you were a casual buying your first ppv you'd feel cheated by the early stoppage and you'd be asking questions about how come low blows are allowed. Weeks should have deducted a point for low blows, allowed Kov time to recover and given Kov a standing count. Ward would most likely still have gotten the tko next round - but let the damn fight come to a proper conclusion.

I disagree w/ ur account of the action. & as for ur AA comment...just look at the history of the business of this sport & how many men of color (not just AA fighters) But so many ethnic fighters being disrespected & treated like trash...used up and cast away...C'mon maan. LEt's not act like ********** have the biggest push. U look now & who are Lampley & Kellerman trying to say are the best in the world...Loma...GGG...Kov...etc. It's crazy.
