And I don't think it will effect GGG Canelo much at all, its 3 weeks earlier and people that will buy GGG Canelo have already decided to buy it.

Feel sorry for Ward Kov fight, White should have made the announcement after that fight not a few days before taking all its thunder, I was hoping Floyd or somebody at press conference would have gave a shout out for fans not to miss this weekends big fight but nope too much into themselves to care about Ward Kov.
Yea they should have at least showcased other boxers on the undercard then it would benefit the entire sport and not just Floyd and Haymon

If he puts on the kind of performance he did against Pacquiao, a clear victory but a very safety first fighting approach, people will be turned off.
Its gonna affect Canelo-GGG for a couple reasons. First, the fights are taking place within a three weeks of each other and Mayweather-McGregor is gonna dominate the mainstream airways, leaving very little mainstream buildup for Canelo-GGG. The postfight is gonna kill another week of Canelo-GGG hype. Secondly, and maybe most important, you're depending on people that for the most part don't care about combat sports to invest nearly $200 in a three week span to watch combat sports. That's something that the other major sports don't have to deal with because they basically give their product away for free on TV. I'm from Nashville and never watched hockey in my life. But I watched every game of the Stanley Cup, and it didn't cost me a penny. If I had been asked to shell out $200 to watched those games, I probably would've declined. After forking over $100 for Mayweather-McGregor, a lot of people that may have ordered Canelo-GGG are probably gonna decline the latter

So you think Floyd should have his fight on another day, and announce his fight on another day, so that his competition (GBP and HBO) can make profits? That's extra ******! Oscar and HBO don't have no love for Floyd, why should he show them some love?

They're talking about that fight because they're talking about the Mayweather/Coner fight.

If they keep talking about GGG and Canelo some of those casuals might get curious and tune in September.
A rising tide lifts all boats. Floyd-Mac is bringing more attention to the sport, and thus more attention to other fights.

Both fights will be affected IF they're on the same date.
You;re lying to yourself if you think the circus fight won't be affected.
Tell me exactly why it would affect GGG/Caenlo fight if the circus in not on the same date.
