I think it all started when Ward said he was rooting for Robert Guerrero to beat Floyd.

Mayweather said he believed that the fight was being shoved down Ward's throat and that the fix was in to get him beat, and that Ward should've stuck around at 168 to make a fight with Gennady Golovkin. And he shouldn't have to move up to Light Heavyweight to fight Kovalov but HBO is making him.

Totally agree. Mayweather, the guy you just love to hate, sent Oscar's payday up the creek without a paddle. I know it will never happen, but if ONLY the rip off for the casual fan that is Mayweather McGregor isn't a 12 round shoulder roll bore fest where Money wins long on points but instead a miraculous 10 seconds into the first knock out lucky shot ala Jose Aldo. I know it will never happen, but I can dream.
