Agree. Oscar won. May said he was taking September back. What happened?
Oscar is the Vegas Don; he calls the shots.

No clue what you're saying but you seem ****** enough to qualify as a buyer for the May/Mac PPV.

Thats gonna severely cut into Cotto's ratings doe. Cotto is a big name, a diva & usually isn't 2nd fiddle on any day his fight is happening. I'd bet on this fight getting moved or someone getting "injured". I don't think anyone involved in this fight or at least certain parties should wanna throw Cotto up against Floyd even if its not a PPV vs PPV or premium cable vs premium cable situation.

That's what Oscar gets! He wanted to bank that Chavez ppv money before making the GGG fight and now look. Fight should have been made after cabro knocked out Amir.

The only ******s ones that are going to buy this fight are UFC fans, casuals and carpet heads selling their food stamps.

I'd personally condense it to; "UFC fans and guys who have posters of Floyd in their bedrooms."

Or they might just have had their fill of boxing for awhile in general or cuz like you say everyone is kinda disappointed after Floyd doesn't lose or Floyd doesn't give the fans a Gatti performance.
It's 3 weeks apart not the same night. Huge blockbuster movies come out a few weeks apart and both do monster numbers. If Floyd were able to steal Canelo's date then it effects the numbers. But we talking Mexican date almost a full month away. you are nuts if you think Mexicans are not going to watch this. 400K? Canelo/GGG at worst does 1.25m. At best 2m buys. Floyd was shut out the Sept date he wanted. If not Floyd out of ego might legit of went forward and forced consumers to choose which one to buy. Now fans who like both can buy both. Fans who weren't going to buy one or the other still won't. This will cater to UFC fans more then boxing fans. And there are tons of examples of huge boxing PPVs airing just weeks from huge UFC PPVs with both events being successful.

History shows it probably won't. Too many examples of Floyd, Manny, Canelo ect fighting on nights where major NBA playoff games including game 7's, MLB games, major football games all aired primetime and drew massive double digit ratings on the same night of PPV fights. Fans watch those event early in the night and have plenty of time to buy a UFC or Floyd PPV afterwards. You are not choosing to buy one and not the other.

Perfect example is Floyd/Manny which aired on the same night as NBA Playoffs game 7, NHL Playoffs, PGA Tour, MLB Red Sox/Yankees, and by the way the Kentucky Dirby. All did good ratings. Because all that happened long before Floyd/Manny fought.
