No idea what you were watching if you're going to make it sound like Kovalev held the edge in jabbing over the course of the whole fight or most of it and that he was "quite clearly a better boxer." You're seeing what you wanted to see. We have different goggles on apparently. They fought on equal terms with the edge and the decision going to Ward overall.

Looking forward to this rematch. It'll put an end to all this selective perception and cognitive dissonance.

I had a £500 bet slip as my avi after the Kovalev Ward fight. I put it all on Ward @ 4/5 the first time out, so just to clear things up I have no agenda.
I was the 25% who picked Ward & I put money where my mouth is. I'm not a fan boy.

What I will say is if you don't acknowledge Kovalev being better at range than Ward is then you don't know about Boxing & you've never stepped in the ring. That's a fair assessment. HBO have uploaded a HD version so please go & review the footage. My first post should have been the be all & end all. Kovalev picked off Ward from range & Ward adjusted with the help of dark arts.

There's a certain Floyd/USA demographic that think being 2nd best is bad or worse yet they think Ward is as skillfull Floyd. When Kovalev whoops his arse this weekend it's not going to take away from Wards career or make him any less of a human.
