... than that time I said Kell Brook was going to annihilate Errol Spence Jr. That was a long time ago however. There is just something in Sergey Kovalev's body language which tells me, psychically, that Andre Ward is going to win in dominating fashion. Ward clearly outboxing Kovalev is definately going to happen. Ward scoring knockdowns would not be a surprise. I could even see a late stoppage or a Roberto Duran style 'No Mas' from Kovalev. Don't be surprised if Team Kovalev fabricate a shoulder or knee injury to avoid getting stopped.

If I'm wrong I will not be posting another fight prediction this year.

Well, you completely **** the bed with the Kell Brook call so you probably shouldn't trust yourself.

So are you trying to do a flip where you go for Ward to win so he loses? Andre "S.O.G." Ward wins again by UD.

I understand what you're saying about body language but as far as 'out Boxing' goes I think Kovalev proved not only that he's under rated but he's better than Ward. Going to be a world class bout.

Knockdown, Ward second to the jab, Kovalev consistently landing straight rights. He's quite clearly a better Boxer. He done all the things you'd associate with an American Gold medalist. Which is score clean effective eye catching shots. My mindset going into the fight was that Ward was going to pick off Kovalev from range but we now know that's impossible because of Kovalevs skill set coupled with his reach.

Ward done his thing though, adjusted & took it inside. Punching off the clinches is also something Andre done which I really respect in the pro game. AJ vs Wlad & Brook vs Spence were too respectful when breaking up the clinches.

... in case Ward scores KDs, be sure that Kovaliov will go "life and death"... literally!

No idea what you were watching if you're going to make it sound like Kovalev held the edge in jabbing over the course of the whole fight or most of it and that he was "quite clearly a better boxer." You're seeing what you wanted to see. We have different goggles on apparently. They fought on equal terms with the edge and the decision going to Ward overall.

Looking forward to this rematch. It'll put an end to all this selective perception and cognitive dissonance.
