I'm not sure if it will be decisive but Ward can and will do better. I don't see Kovalev having the early success he had or even getting another KD.

People need to stop saying Kovalev is the better boxer. He's not. They're both good at what they do. Kovalev is obviously better from the outside because of his range and his ability to optimize his power. Ward can also box from the outside but wasn't successful against Kovalev because of the reasons I said before. Ward was better on the inside because he was physically able to control Kovalev and counter him more effectively. Not to mention attack his body.

Kovalev will have to be the one to make the necessary adjustments. Ward already made his and will improve on it.
