I'm literally LMAO at folks claimed Kovalev "rocked" Ward with a jab. Ward was rockes, stunned, or anything else. He was squared up, in a bad position, and knocked off balance by a stiff, well timed jab. He literally took a half a step back.

Hell, Ward wasn't even hurt by the KD. Andre took an ass whipping in that second round, even before the KD. He was nailed by several sharp power shots. And he was dropped near the end of the round. And then came back and IMO won the third. It took him no time to clear his head.

The irony of these clowns saying he was kod by a jab & even post or repost the footage that CLEARLY shows him being kod by a right cross it looks like. And regardless it means jack shlt besides kovalev caught him off gaurd early before Ward had him figured out. Ward will win easy because hell already have him figured out going in this time. Kov will be angry so hell be too tense & slow. I'm putting some loot on ward by UD,I think ward will need to win 8 rds as the judges be gunning for him on the cards as they know kovs groupies will cry foul if kov isnt given every benefit of doubt imaginable.

yeah right. I thought ward won the fight 114-113, couldve seen 114-113 the other way pretty easily. Kovalev didn't hit ward flush upstairs that many times but the two times he did round 2... ward went down. round 10 in the ear ward was effective. Ward did good things in the fight but Kovalev def has power if he hits you flush from the outside.

Kovalev is a sharp puncher, breaks you down, doesnt have many if any one punch ko's over anyone but club fighters

he caught 'DRE flush when he attempted an outside slip of Kov's jab and a right hand counter.....**** happens

he took other flush right hand counters especially when he attempted his jab to the body and other situations


Kovalev couldnt KO ward, Chilemba and a 50 year old Hopkins, hit Pascal with everything but the kitchen sink an d he still made it past the mid point in both fights


he never was a julian jackson, bob foster type puncher...thats ok

his power is overrated and his boxing skills, timing and control of disatance is very underrated
