well he went up in weight n lasted 12... that jab is a beast tho, if kov could work off of it more hed win pretty easily but that's easier said than done. why is everyone so angry? Ward is just giving his assessment God damn u guys cry over anything.

Andre Ward is playing mind games, and at the same time convincing himself (Of what he is saying!). But i do feel like he has gained more confidence, due to being knocked down and then making the fight competitive! Deep down i don't think he envisioned that sort of fight or performance from himself!

He was clinching in the first Ward fight. Hid trainer admits it in an article on this site.

The knockdown punch was well timed but not positioned properly. The front of Kovalev's glove hit Ward's nose. Had Kovalev properly landed that punch on Ward's chin, I'm not so sure Ward would've been able to continue. Oh well, coulda shoulda woulda....

You can say that about anybody. Paulie Malinaggi says it all the time. Its grown men hitting each other. You don't have to have devastating power to land a perfect shot and put somebody to sleep.
