I am not a lying hater I am just someone who knows that the man who lands more, throws more, lands more accurately, presses the vast majority of the 12 round fight and scored the only knock down should be the guy who wins the fight.
But...but...Jacobs threw landed 10 more power shots and throw more combos though:smileysexComment

I wasn't being critical just an observation.
"When asked about a rematch with Sergio Mora in a good fight where Mora dropped Jacobs.
"No rematch". There is no reason for me to go backwards now. It didn't come out the way he wanted it to but I am not going to give him a rematch just cuz.
After losing a close fight with GGG. Waaaaaaaaaaaah!!! We want a rematch. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!"
This is pretty ****** because Jacobs did give Mora a rematch and beat him even easier. See, that's how it works. Controversial decision. Rematch! Win decisively if the first one was legit.Comment

Well context is king. My sig was created in response to the GGG haters who bashed him for not giving Jacobs an immediate rematch. Jacobs gave Mora a rematch eventually and clearly had to be dragged kicking and screaming into it. Not only has GGG never said he wouldn't give Jacobs a rematch he actually said he would give him a rematch. If he never gives Jacobs that rematch then yes. I will criticize him for it. But in the meantime he's got a fight with Canelo lined up (with a rematch possible if he wins a competitive fight) and he is also hopefully going be able to follow through with his plan to unify with Billy Joe Saunders by the end of the year. Then he also has an interesting mandatory fight to take care of against that Charlo brother who just moved up to 160. Can anyone knock a guy who could potentially fight Jacobs, Canelo, Billy Joe Saunders and Jermall Charlo in consecutive fights in roughly a years time? I don't think an objective person could. Meanwhile, what is Jacobs' plan. Who is he fighting next? Is there even a plan or is he just going to spend the rest of the year basking in the glow afforded to him by his competitive fight with GGG.I wasn't being critical just an observation.

Holy crap you're serious! First, there shouldn't be any context to figure out in a signature quote. Second, who are these people criticizing Golovkin for not giving Jacobs a rematch? There might be one or two people. It certainly isn't near the level that criticized Ward. And how the heck is Charlo ahead of Jacobs when he hasn't had one fight at MW? He already bypassed Saunders so that ship has sailed. If Jacobs isn't next after Canelo it will be what we all know is the reason. He's in no hurry to face Jacobs again. I don't blame him because the fight wasn't easy for him and I thought he lost. Finally, Saunders is not picking Jacobs as his next opponent and you know the reason why.Well context is king. First of all, a sig is created by an individual for whatever purpose the individual wants. It suited my purpose. Secondly, there are a whole **** ton of these guys slamming GGG in the GGG vs. Jacobs threads. Thirdly, Ward had a rematch clause in his contract. He had to give Kovalev a rematch. People felt like he was dragging his feet. I didn't criticize Ward over it. I thought it was all posturing for leverage in negotiations. I just thought that his defenders shouldn't treat him like a war hero for honoring the contract and giving Kovalev the rematch. As for Charlo, he hasn't bypassed Jacobs as a middleweight. But he's going to be a mandatory contender assuming he can beat that Argentinian guy. Being a mandatory means GGG is obligated to fight him or give up the belt. At this point in his career GGG would probably prefer to keep the belt and thus Charlo would move ahead of Jacobs in the potential GGG opponent pecking order for that reason. And Charlo is a top young fighter and just the first of many top young guys who are going to be moving up to 160 sooner rather than later. There is no shame about fighting someone like him.Holy crap you're serious! First, there shouldn't be any context to figure out in a signature quote. Regarding Saunders, that fight has just been pushed to the near future. It hasn't been killed. If GGG comes out on top against Canelo in September GGG becomes the biggest fight out there for BJS. The fight will happen. GGG just needs to win.
Jacobs will hopefully get his turn sooner rather than later. But in the meantime GGG will be fighting high quality opponents. What is Jacobs doing?Last edited by yankees7448; 06-15-2017, 09:33 PM.Comment
That you ignore all the criticisms that have been made against BJS in this very thread.
