Yeah, he pulls a lot of BS in the ring, but then that's Kovs job to make him FKing Stop! If he can't, then Wards the better man period. He got a BS gift decision in the first fight, but here he is again, to try to prove it wasn't. That's pretty cool in my book.

its the refs job actually. since the ref let ward cheat nonstop in the first fight kovalev was headlocking him so ward couldnt hold and hit or wrestle him into position. then the ward fanboys started saying kovalev was cheating all the while ignoring the reason he was diong that which was to prevent wards cheating. something teh ref should address but unfortunately boxing is a rigged game and some people have to do more in that ring and even if they do they could get robbed bhy the last line of defense. wards corrupt judges. roudn 10........my god

The burden of proof is on me to establish that a boring and disliked "Black" fighter like Andre Ward should be given the benefit of the doubt by mostly "White" fans who claim he lost to a "White" fighter who is considered exciting and fun to watch, yes?

Man, you're barking up the wrong tree if you think that's my angle. I just couldn't understand why you were being so stubborn on what is clearly a simple matter of opinion. My only issue was that I felt kinda pissed off that you were saying that I personally (along with anyone else who felt it was a close fight -which is pretty much everyone) was unable to objectively score bodywork. The presumption in that just rubs me up the wrong way.

Possibly. Or maybe you're the guy suffering from confirmation bias. Maybe you're the guy who's overemphasising the importance or the direct scoring value of body punching. How do we tell which of us is right?
