The fact that stiverne is the mandatory won't help him either. Nobody really cares about that fight. I hope he fights Parker after that and hopefully next year Joshua will have dealt with klitschko and pulev and they can fight for the number 1 spot. Im not sure where fury will be by then but it should be good to watch if all goes to plan.

yeah he was hanging in there and as I remember bellew got daveys attention in the first round with some hard shots. Haye did win most of the early rounds and I still thought bl Haye would have won if he didn't rupture his Achilles .

Seriously bellew and all the weird idiots forgetting Haye was on one leg can just f*** o**. Haye won every single round before his leg went , why do people act like that was a legit win? Was it f***s.

A one legged, 36 year old David Hayes is not better than stiverne which wilder beat pretty easy. Besides, it took this dude 11 rounds to get rid of a one legged man. A healthy hate, even at his age, would spark bellew out

            Stop trying to rewrite history.

2017 Haye is not "a ****load better" than 2015 Stiverne. If that were the case, Haye would have dominated Bellew, a blown up cruiserweight that got knocked out by Stevenson at light heavyweight.
Lmao one of the absolute best fighter in the world and stiverne

If anybody is being silly, it's you. The facts don't support your position.
You'd take Stiverne over Haye? You think Stiverne would be favored in that fight?

He was the WBC champion though, so he's indisputably better

In his world, the belt makes the champion. The belt gives a champion these skills that means he's on top of the world, due to the prestigious history of it. It's almost unfair to other feeble champions

I wonder if he thinks the 2014 Heavyweight division was stronger than the current one

Its sad that you have to explain this to some people.

Did Tony Bellew rupture Haye's achillies? This thread is a bad look for a lot of British posters.

The fact is Bermane Stiverne was the #2 ranked contender at heavyweight when Wilder beat him. Also, Johann Duhaupas and Carlos Molina made the top 10 shortly after their losses to Wilder.

All 3 men have been rated higher than David Haye in recent history because David Haye hasn't been a top 10 ranked heavyweight in more than 7 years.
