I agree with you. What's your point? Wilder hasn't fought anyone either and he is the WBC champ which is much worse. Surely you see my point.

Nobody said anything about sanctioning body rankings. Stiverne was #2 or #3 in all of the major independent rankings (Boxing Scene, TBRB, Ring Magazine, IBO, ESPN, etc etc).

where was Stiverne on any P4P list during 2014/15? Oh yeah... nowhere.
Hahaha . . . P4P lists are imaginary rankings to determine who would be the best in a fantasy world where everyone is the same size. In reality (the heavyweight rankings), Stiverne was one of the top 2 or 3 fighters on the planet in every major independent ranking outlet.

Secondly... where was Stiverne on any P4P list during 2014/15? Oh yeah... nowhere.

One of the top three fighters on planet earth, yet doesn't appear on a P4P list anywhere?

I assume then, as a top three fighter 'on planet earth', your 2014/15 P4P list looked like this:

        1) Mayweather
        2) Pacquiao
        3) Stiverne.

It's a shame you can't come down to planet earth yourself and join us.
Stiverne is an easy fighter to dissect, but the comparison is 2017 Haye to 2015 Stiverne. As I indicated to the other fella, beating a one-legged 2017 Haye isn't much of a resume builder. Simply put...Haye may have been rated high in the past, but in the ring you don't fight a guys reputation from past fights. 2017 Haye has a better name than 2015 Stiverne, but 2015 Stiverne is a tougher out.

By "holding his own" you mean not getting knocked out? Because Haye was winning the rounds clearly.

That is a much better win than a shot Haye who hasn't faced a live body in five years.
            Bwhahahaha.

I see your point in desiring Wilder to be in marquee fights. I'm just not sure how much blame he deserves for the lack of fights. Surely he and his promotional team could come up with something to make him a bigger money maker in the US to make the other top guys want to risk going to sleep for a big check.

Love bellew, says it as it is sometimes. But really it's nothing any tard with 2 left hands can't figure out. Deontay is a fraud and it won't be long b4 he comes across a Mediocre opponent who actually has a tad of power to ko him. He be considering himself lucky if he makes it to Joshua. If he does he will regret it!

Precisely. So as much as Bellew statement about resumes is utter rubbish, this has become a say whatever to bash Wilder thread.

I agree. But i disagree that Stiverne was a top 3 heavyweight at anytime.

Agree it's a total embarrassment wilders 2 years defending low rank bums. Watch haye spar wilder. Haye cleans up!
