Sanctioning bodies rankings mean very little in terms of who are the best fighters in the world. You know that. Look at the ridiculous mandatories some fighters have to take. If you want further evidence just look at the current rankings! They don't mean ****.

Secondly... where was Stiverne on any P4P list during 2014/15? Oh yeah... nowhere.

The fact that people on here can only use stiverne as wilders best opponent proves that bellews right. Stiverne is very average at best. For stiverne to still be the best heavyweight wilder has fought is a disgrace to the WBC title. I believe wilder is a top heavyweight but it's time to prove it.

Haye last fought in a meaningful fight in 2011. Bellew fighting a guy who USED to be one of the top heavyweights six years ago isn't much of a resume builder. On top of that, the guy tore his Achilles in the fight. Bellew wasn't fighting Hayes history or reputation, he was fighting the shell of the fighter that Haye used to be.
