    The IBF and Sergey Lipinets=jackasses

So meanwhile in the boxing world the IBF grants Joshua an exemption so he can rematch Klitschko yet they have been taking an opposite side of a similiar situation in regards to Julius Indongo...why? How is it that an American based sanctioning body is trying to strip Indongo thus preventing unification of all six belts (IBF, WBO, WBC, WBA, IBO, and Ring(lineal) at 140 between Crawford and Indongo. How can the only American based body be getting in the way of a fully unified champ at 140 for some guy from Kazakstan who wasn't even ranked that high till January 2017? Sergey Lipinets and his team suck if they do this and so does the IBF. How can Joshua get this exemption but Indongo gets a different set of rules. You even got the president of the IBF saying unifications trump mandatories. Surely the sanctioning fee for a Crawford fight would be worth at least 10 Sergey Lipinets fights put together. Like who got to the IBF? Whose been bribed? Why can't Lipinets team just negotiate good enough to fight winner? Wouldnt that be preferable to picking up a belt in a division where the other guy has five and beat several champs to get it as where you have one you got from a vacancy:stripped situation? Surely Bob Arum and Eddie Hearn have the money and experience to outmaneuver Lipinets amateaur team and tactics.

I'm guessing you have no clue who Lipinets is. Otherwise, you wouldn't write that^ idiocy. The guy is putting in work and has every right to go after his title shot. He shouldn't let himself get passed over because the fans want unification. If you would rather see Crawford/Indongo, fair enough. But, there's simply no reason to bash Sergey over this.

      This.

I think this is a complete bs situation cuz the IBF has horrible rankings & even worse ways to find mandatory's, but I can't hate on any boxer who takes advantage of these bs situations to get into a belt situation when they've never held a belt in the first place in particular.

Lipinets gets his name on the map by winning any major belt from the title holder or a vacant belt. Not his fault he's found himself in this situation. Hating on Lipinets is like hating on a guy for picking up a $20 he found on the ground when the only idiot is the guy who dropped it.

He has gloated in a recent interview tht he is stopping a unification... like why not fight the winner for all the belts. If he thinks getting Indongo stripped and having a vacancy battle will get him any fans or support he is wrong. Also the duplicity of the ibf in regards to joshua and indongo is a bad look.

I'm not gonna hate on Lipinets just the IBF. Don't have a double standard. If you gave Joshua an exemption then why not Indongo?

Lipinets is with Haymon so he's got the best manager looking out for him as he should. There might have to be some step aside money involved or a promise to fight the winner. I'm sure Crawford would have no problem fighting Lipinets. Hell Lipinets could even co headline on the Crawford/Indongo unification.

Like who wouldn't wanna fight the champ for six belts instead of a vacancy fight for one belt. Sure Lipinets ahould get the winner but come on IBF don't stop a complete 140 unification.

Because this is a sport at the end of the day. He gets a belt, more recognition, negotiating power, and can actually attract an opponent like Crawford to the table if he has a belt. It would be a dumb move to let Crawford get all of the titles when he can get one of them and negotiate a bigger piece of the pie for himself.
