This thread and the posts made me think he fought late last year. He just fought 3 months ago

Last I saw, he was calling dudes out? He wanted a GGG rematch, he called out Lemiuex and Lemiuex said he has bigger fish to fry despite Jacobs being better than him P4P and in the top 10 MW's. He can't fight Canelo because he's signed to fight GGG. Charlo is signed to fight Heiland. Saunders is signed to fight Khurtsdze. WBA ordered rematch between N'Dam-Murata. Jacobs called out Andy Lee ages ago, he said if he beats Saunders he wants to fight him in a unification fight.

Chris Eubank Jr is up in the air, I don't even know what he's doing or when he plans to do something big.

These facts don't matter. If he waits to fight until next year he'll take heat. If he fights a lessee opponent he'll take even more heat even though none of this is his fault.

With no indication of an opponent and nothing in the works, it appears as if jacobs is needing extended time out of the ring in order to come to terms with the loss.

Although jacobs wasnt an undefeated fighter after the early loss to pirog, he had a winning streak extending many years, and certainly physically he did not resemble to scrawny kid that fought pirog. In fact he was the significantly larger fighter against golovkin.

To his credit jacobs did good work in a few rounds, but was outlanded in the vast majority (8 out of 12), and knocked down. The most surprising thing for many, is that jacobs shots did not put any sort of dent in golovkin.

This must change a fighters mentality, from thinking offensively they can do damage to anyone, to shots bouncing off the opponent. The aura of invincibility goes, especially considering against the smaller guy he resorted to having to fight on the back foot.

So will jacobs be able to reclimb the mountain so to speak? After recovering from an explosive loss to pirog, will he be able to recover and work his way back into contention after a convincing loss to golovkin?

So if nelo beats lil g, I guess its Jacobs fault for beating him, right?

No boxer is the same once he encounters GGG. His past opponents are all broken men in some way or another. Look at Kell he hasn't been the same. GGG is the real deal.

Kell had one fought that went 11 rounds and he broke his bone on the OPPOSITE side of the face. Meaning it had nothing to do with prior injuries.

This is plain and simple some dicksucking shit.

Honestly, he will probably be better. This was a moral victory for him, and he proved to himself that her belonged up there with the most avoided fighter in his weight class.

He's improved after the Pirog fight and I'm sure he'll improve again after this. I don't see many rushing to get in there with him now though.

Lemieux is just ducking. Top ten might be busy. Korobov is probably not top ten but i think enough people are interested in seeing Jacobs fight to where it wouldn't matter

Jacobs is still living off of "I cheated the IBF weigh-in and survived 12 rounds against GGG." He wants to squeeze it as long as possible.
