I agree that Jacobs should get some props for hanging in with Golovkin for 12 rounds, something unaccomplished by any of his predecessors. He should move on now and continue fighting. Lamenting or wishing things had gone differently won't help him with future opponents.

        The judges thought otherwise.

I thought he should try for Korobov or Andy Lee. They both said they would probably retire without meaningful fights. Those would be good wins for Jacobs.

While I thought g string ecked out a decision (knock down made all the difference), Jacobs should get over it and like most posted her, get going while his name is hot.

G3 was never the same after the Jacobs fight. He's no longer smiling like he used to. I think he tasted huge punches coming from a huge fighter in that fight.

I think he'll be even better. He went 12 rounds with the boogeyman and had many people thinking he was the better man. That should motivate an already very talented fighter to show who the real man is in his class. I gave the fight to GGG, but even I will admit an argument can be made for Danny.

I don't see why he wouldn't be the same. It's not like he took a beating in the fight. He'll probably wait and see what happen between Golovkin and Canelo to make his next move.
