Really shows who knows how to score fights no way ward won, bunch of black trolls claiming ward won because he is black, tried to biased as hell when I rewatched the fight towards ward and the most I could come up with is a draw and that was being generous.i had it 7-5 for Kovalev

I watched part of that fight again last night.....
Ward's timing and control of distance is superb
that, combined with his ring savvy, make that jab the best in the business
Ward has two BIG advantages heading into the rematch
1) he was underdone
this has been ignored by the media, not sure why
Ward had a looong layoff, then he moved up in weight to fight Brand and Barrera..... neither of whom were the best preparation for Kovalev
Ward was underdone heading into that bout, he needed at least 1-2 more fights at the weight
Ward will be MUCH better with those 12 HARD rounds under his belt and after another specialist 175 camp with Mackie Shilstone
2) his style, and the fact that NOW he knows Kovalev inside out
for that fight to unfold any differently, Kovalev will have to open up and take some risks, and I am sure that Ward will be a lot sharper this time around
the rematch will not get any easier for Kovalev, thats for sure..... and I don't think that they have acknowledged/addressed their problems
Ward UD12 in another hard/close fight

And Kovalev is not making excuses. He is saying his performance was not as great in the second half because he felt a sudden energy drop. He still fought on, he still outlanded Ward, he was still the aggressor. He is simply stating that he was tired. He still did a better job then Ward, even when tired. He still deserved the decision.

correct
that fight will still be a closely fought contest
but Wards preparation and class will see him through
Ward is clearly the better fighter, and he will be more settled this time around

Ward doesn't actually land punches. I can't see him winning the rematch.
I mean, look at round 10 of the first fight. If you think Ward won, you're an idiot.
