Not the same. Floyd basically said he almost pitched a shutout vs Alvarez with his D game. Like other posters said, if you felt you won, why talk of doing anything other than winning more convincingly?

No, he won the first fight.

But he realizes he would have needed to KO Ward to win. He failed to get the KO because he became tired in the later rounds. He still clearly won, but the judges robbed him.

Really shows who knows how to score fights no way ward won, bunch of black trolls claiming ward won because he is black, tried to biased as hell when I rewatched the fight towards ward and the most I could come up with is a draw and that was being generous.i had it 7-5 for Kovalev

I thought that Wards body shots slowed down Kovalev.
I also thought that Ward was still very technical in rounds 6-12. Kovalev isnt use to staying focused that long. It mentally fatigued him as well.

Body shots, mental fatigue, and wrestling tired him out. Ward just wouldn't accept Kovalev's clinches (rightfully so). Kovalev's clinches were being broken out of at will in the second half of the fight whereas in the first half Ward struggled to break em and the commentators were even saying that Kovalev seems to be the stronger of the two. But the reality is that he was overworking himself to maintain those clinches and headlocks.

The big majority of fans and boxing writers polled thought Kovalev deserved to win the first fight. You talk like it is impossible for Ward to lose the rematch. There is a strong possibility Kovalev could win. Ward is only a 7 to 5 betting favorite to win. When and IF Ward wins the rematch that would be the time to brag about Ward's win. You are having a victory party for Ward 11 days too early. Did you bet any cash on your sure thing winner Ward or are you just a big talker. Your extreme hate for Kovalev is disgusting. If Kovalev wins will you give him credit and eat your crows? I doubt you will.
