Joshua was in serious trouble and barely escaped his last fight on his feet. He would be wise to focus on that rematch and not look too far ahead. Deontay presents many problems that Joshua has never seen before in the ring. There are no sparring partners who can prepare him for that man. Joshua has come a long way, and I applaud him for his accomplishments, but it may not be long before The Bronze Bomber is wearing those belts.

Well Deontay was always relevant, but yes having a dance partner helps anyone. It's really a symbiotic relationship though, just look at Ali-Frazier. Ali was by far more famous and popular, but what he be the absolute legend without Frazier or ForemaBefore Joshua knocked klitschko out, nobody really took Deontay seriously
9 years in the game, never fought even B level opponent, paper champion, getting lit up and looking average vs bums.
He just was what he was
Then joshua KO's klitschko
Suddenly Deontay became "a thing"
He should be thanking Joshua, because he made wilder famous.Comment
