If we are being honest here, Anthony Joshua MADE Deontay Wilder relevant

Before Joshua knocked klitschko out, nobody really took Deontay seriously

9 years in the game, never fought even B level opponent, paper champion, getting lit up and looking average vs bums.

He just was what he was

    Then joshua KO's klitschko

    Suddenly Deontay became "a thing"

He should be thanking Joshua, because he made wilder famous.

Bombsquad had that clown Tyson Fury performing his stale routine in front of THOUSANDS in NY Barclays center and millions around the world ( when he was THE champion) as HOF's in attendance : Mike Tyson, Evander Holifield witnessed Deontay deliver 2016 KO of the year!

and lets talk about how the 'Bronze-Bomber' brought the only title that matters back not only to the great U.S.A but to FREE national TV -- I'm sorry but when you understand how the UK is the size of the state of California you really begin to grasp why it is that the UK fighters become so popular.

I also forgot to mention that Joey Parker came to see tha champ in Alabama in his last fight vs. Gerald Washington and then the 'Bellend' from the UK at first opportunity called out the 'Bronze-Bomber'

....now I ask you for someone whos not so popular these HWs cant keep his name out of their mouths ; OH wait I'm sorry I'm wrong here apparently Anthony Joshua is silent about Wilder until they bring him up in interviews.

Hey, Im a DW fan too and I would root for him against anybody. But the fact remains, being honest about it, AJ is the more accomplished Fighter right now. And the size of UK is irrelevant. Even with our size here in the US, Ali, Foreman, Tyson, were SUPERSTARS in Boxing. Now, if DW beats AJ, then we will have something.

Joshua was in serious trouble and barely escaped his last fight on his feet. He would be wise to focus on that rematch and not look too far ahead. Deontay presents many problems that Joshua has never seen before in the ring. There are no sparring partners who can prepare him for that man. Joshua has come a long way, and I applaud him for his accomplishments, but it may not be long before The Bronze Bomber is wearing those belts.

We are talking about relevance, not accomplishments. In terms of popularity its easier for a country with the population of just one of our states to get behind a single champion or any other contender for that matter.

America is the leader in sports we are saturated with excellence as such we have become spoiled and do not appreciate our athletes. Deontay Wilder's resume is on par with any other champion at the moment, hes leading the division in title defenses, compubox ; he became champion by defeating a top five HW champion - not some bum as in Charles Martin or fat boy Andy Ruiz...now this hype about Joshua sickens me , some named Dubia or whatever his frenchy name is spelled dropped him in sparring ; David Priced KO him! Dylan Whyte had him on tilt! and Klitschko almost had him out after almost two years of inactivity.

Face it if it wasnt for Tyson Fury and that Eddie Hearn kept Joshua away from his mandatory position for the WBC coming up in 2015-2016 he would not be who he is thought of today. But hey I don't blame them Charles Martin was the right buisness move.
