I genuinely don't know what people on here are talking about. It wasn't a robbery. A robbery is when a one sided fight gets scored against the clear winner. There is no way in this world that kovalev or ward was a clear winner. This fight was very close and I have never understood the reaction to it on here. It's not based on boxing knowledge but simply people's hate for ward. Get over it and enjoy the rematch.

But two in a row would be too much to stomach against the same fighter.

Why is there three American judges and ref AGAIN???

When Spence fought Brook there was an American judge and two other non-english judges??

Why do people talk about potentisl robberies in other countries but when fighting in America people act like the foreign dude is guaranteed a fair shake?

I don't get it. From kotelbik being robbed against Alexander to pacquiao against Bradley and then kovalev against Ward and there's many more.

Yet nobody seems bothered that AGAIN three American judges?!?

This would be unacceptable for a fight in Russia with an American to have three Russian judges

i wish i had enough knowledge as the judges who all gave ward the 10th when kov dominated it and it was his second best round of the fight. it really should have been 11-1 ward. these judges were communist sympathizers

I thought it was a very very close fight that ward just won by 1 point. I would have been ok with kovalev winning by 1 point. That's how close it was in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of either man so I just tried to enjoy the fight. Hopefully the rematch is clear.

I made a thread about it when kovalev made the initial request but Ward's team refused to agree to it.

And everybody was like "let the commission do their job, doe." "The commission is responsible and I'm sure they will bring in three fair judges"!

Yet despite the controversy of the first fight the commission brings in three American judges yet again???

Lol and these same people were the ones saying how the commission's drug testing policies were unacceptable and how Floyd was right to protest it and all this.

Yet when the commission is questioned now they say "let them do their job, doe"!!
