If Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder were to fight today. My money would go on Joshua for the win. And win by KO.

Both guys can knock each other out for sure. But my money is on Joshua to land his big punches before Wilder can land his. That's how I see it.

Dude I wasn't saying Wilder has to jump divisions for big fights, that's just an example, to show how far others have been willing to go in order to get the big fights.

Well idk at the end of the day he's really controlled by Haymon.

I think he should just fight Ortiz since no one else will. If Deontay wins, everyone will say Ortiz was a bum so this guy can't win no matter what he does.
Again, who is he supposed to fight?
He should fight Ortiz so why isn't he fighting Ortiz? Has he or his team tried to get a fight with Ortiz? Has Ortiz turned him down? I think Wilder vs Ortiz is an even fight. If he beat Ortiz I would give him full credit for beating a very worthy challenger. He has been champion a long time and has yet to defend his title against a guy boxrec ranks in the top 15. There is really no excuse for that other than being a cherry picking champion. AJ has been a champion for much less time than Wilder and he has already defended his title against top ranked Wlad. Ortiz is ranked 6th by Boxrec and 3rd by the WBC.

I agree. They both have average chins and big power. Wilder is wild and sloppy. He has a great straight right but most of his punches are wide roundhouse telegraphed punches. AJ throws accurate, textbook punches and he is more likely to land a KO punch first in my opinion.

He has an extremely awkward style, speed, angles, and a right hand of mass destruction. He looks vulnerable from a distance, but once you get inside that ring it's completely different.

He needs to keep his head down, and improve his technique.
