I agree that Wilder been ducked by these guys, but true or not, that excuse can only protect you for so long. At some point we gotta start holding you accountable. You have to go out of your way to make the fights happen.
Mayweather chased Dela Hoya and Mosley across multiple divisions until he got that fight. Pacquiao jumped up multiple divisions to get the big fights (Cotto, Dela Hoya, Mayweather) and Marquez chased Pacquiao across two divisions to get his rematch.
We have to see you go out of your way to get em fights man. Yeah Glazkov, Povetkin, and the Furies all ducked you, true Joshua won't even utter your name right now, but how about you challenge one of Joshua's mandatories and take their spot. Ortiz and Pulev are his mandatories, so while Joshua fights the rematch with Klitschko, you could fight one of those guys and take their spot.
Not only would that add a good name to your resume, but you would be in a position to force the Joshua/Klitschko winner into the ring with you.
Come on man time to end the bum of the month parade.Comment

I agree with some of this, but Wilder can't go across divisions or anything. He's heavyweight. Only other place to go is down and I don't think he wants to drain. Situations a little bit different he has a lot less options than the lower weight guys.I agree that Wilder been ducked by these guys, but true or not, that excuse can only protect you for so long. How do we Know this though? I thought AJ or Parker were coming up soon?Everyone wants him to fight someone relevant (including me) but AJ isn't interested. Parker won't fight him. Who is he supposed to fight?
I think he should just fight Ortiz since no one else will. If Deontay wins, everyone will say Ortiz was a bum so this guy can't win no matter what he does.
Again, who is he supposed to fight?Comment

AJ is interested. Though he's tied up right now with the rematch clause for Klitschko and the IBF and WBA mandatories threatening to sue, etc...
No one is ducking no one. As soon as all this mess with the sanctioning bodies is clear. They will fight each other. Even on Wilder's side, with them enforcing Stiverne as the mandatory it's a mess.
Was hoping for Joseph Parker to fight Wilder in a unification but it doesn't look like Parker wants that unfortunately.
The question also is will Wilder fight Ortiz? I haven't heard Wilder, AJ or Parker mention Ortiz. I heard Ortiz mentioning them but not the other way around.
I'd rather see Joshua vs Wilder anyway before either of them fight Ortiz. The sanctioning bodies are a pain in the @$$ to deal with, stripping fighters and enforcing mandatories. Hopefully it can get resolved and we all get the fight we want to see.Last edited by The Time; 06-04-2017, 11:15 PM.Comment

I root for DW, because he's American. But I think he would be the underdog against AJ. Not Saying he can't Win, but I think AJ would be favored. I'd Say about 70/30, in favor of AJ. I hope I'm wrong though.Comment

Wilder needs to fight Ortiz. Make that fight happen he is a legit opponent who isn't afraid like the others. Wilder is in Crawford's situation. He cant fight the Broners and Pacman so he has settle for the Diaz and Postols and Ortiz fits in that catergory. Everyone would give him mad respect for blasting out Ortiz who can punch himself.Comment
