Andre Berto said it best, Spence feels like King Kong right about now. He believes he can beat anyone in or around his weight.

GGG don't have issues making 160 either, yet his haters make 100 threads a day asking him to move up.

I haven't been overly impressed by Spence against Kell Brook. Thurman will beat him. I feel Spence is too slow, flat-footed and predictable. I expect a competitive fight though because Spence is good, but I see Thurman winning a close decision.

Why does PACQUIA get a pass on fighting the other 147 champ SPENCE?

That's why he never was a great amateur.

But dude is big, strong and akward, he beat the best WW last week end IMO, even if Brook was coming off a loss.

Garcia is too small and Thurman and Porter aren't that great, he will clean up that division, but get beat if he moves up to 154 soon.

A Charlo bro would whoop his ass, let alone Andrade.
An Olympian was never a great amateur? Really? He spars WITH a Charlo brother and that brother has said that he is the best sparring he's ever had. And the fact that you need to go up a weight class to give him actual comp say a lot right there.

Works off the jab, invests to the body, and takes most shots on the forearms to remain in range to counter, but not cerebral. There are mental aspects that go into all of that

I think he did pretty good as an amateur. Won national titles and represented the USA Olympic team. No Rigo, or Loma, but he was the best welterweight in the U.S. For sure...

This was a good in depth interview of what Spence thinks of Thurman. He basically said he thinks he has better skills, Thurman is too small for him and he fades in fights.

If [Spence] could embarrass Thurman, he'd be the best fighter in the division. Be an interesting matchup in styles. Definitely a more skill induced fight than with Porter. Didn't like watching him try to dry hump Thurman all over the ring. Pretty boring fight--and Porter is normally exciting. Just love that Spence self promotes. I hope they all do eventually.
