People are way too emotional and it blinds them. Sports fans, similarly to music fans are way too enamored with personality and image rather than the actual talent of their heroes. Ali is a media creation, hyped up to proportions way beyond what was true. He was a great fighter but lets be real. He would have faced hell with plenty of of fighters since his era. In fact he faced hell with Ken Norton and very small fighters like Frazier. Joe was ferocious and he had great stamina and heart but.....Ah, there's no use trying to convince people who want to believe in gods. Yeah, Ali could handcuff lightning.
