There are rumors that there is a "tape" of the convos, so he cant deny they never took place or that they even talked money. He can only defend himself by saying they called me.

Regardless of who called who, the fact that he did say he would have jumped if they met his price says a lot about how unhappy he is.

They said they were interested in it not only before Wards offer but after too. They even explained that Froch would be worth going to 168 for but Ward isn't.
