You guys are too much for me. Fighters are supposed to not take easy paydays because it might screw up potential unifications in the future?

I think I'm going to have to avoid opening just about every GGG topic. Maybe 1 in 100 topics about GGG is worth reading.

I'm suggesting WW unifications are better for the sport than a MW fighting a WW in a cash grab. You disagree?

Floyd vs McGregor is a circus fight but it in no way affects the current boxing landscape like GGG-Brook did.

Yea avoid opening topics about GGG because it's obvious any topic criticizing GGG triggers you.

i think thats the part about the brook cherrypick that bothered me the most...the fact that they tried to sell it to the public as an accident.....it was no accident....the fight had been rumored/speculated as much as a year before it was made...

then loeffler says "well we would have fought degale if he was offered to us"....welppppppp...how about asking hearn and earning some respect as opposed to cherrypicking a WW? lol

loeffler has talked about how they make fights...how they have a list and work from the top to bottom...if the top guy doesnt have his signature by a certain time they move to the next guy......butttttttt....somehow they just kept waiting and waiting on eubank till the last second with no signature? cmon...nobody buyin that garbage but his fanboys.....

if they had just been honest about it i wouldnt have lost total respect...most of what i had left....but not total
Your post doesn't make sense. You say if a prospective opponent doesn't have his signature on the contract by a certain time they move on. That's what happened. Eubank didn't sign and they moved on to Brook. Eddie Hearn said Eubank Senior was to blame for the fight falling through.

lets put it this way....golovkin and his trainer were beating their chests about how they would fight anyone to 168......even recently, about the time of ward/kova, he said his guy "can beat anyone that fights at 175 right now...but thats not on the table now so we wont talk about that".........

when a guy goes around puffing his chest like that and banking off this tough talk...promoting himself off of it...than i wouldnt criticize any guy for calling him out...especially when ward had fought over 90 percent of his career fights at 168 as a pro at the time he called golovkin to fight

my post makes plenty of sense...try waking up and not being a biased superfan

when a MW/super MW hasnt signed a deal by a certain date...you move on to your next MW/super MW on your list....and try to get him to sign

loeffler said when eubank wouldnt sign they were stuck and wouldnt be able to make a fight if it werent for hearn and brook....which is a crock......they waited till the last minute and couldnt get eubank....they should have moved on from eubank way before they did.....fighting a WW should have been a move that was never even an option or consideration

overpaid or not...is a matter of opinion...he got that money...so he was paid....he made 5 mil at least...and hbo/whoever also paid him 1.8 for brand which was a glorified sparring session...and they had to in order to secure that fight

it only takes one person willing to pay you to determing your "worth"

but you live in La La Land...so i wouldnt expect you to get it

the bottom line is ...hbo and kovalev wanted ward fight...and even though it didnt sell well the first time...both parties wanted it AGAIN....which means ward is valuable and worth something...which goes against the basic premise golovkin fans use to excuse golovkins duck of ward

and spare me the "kova got 2 mil so it aint worth it to ggg" line again......because ggg would have made the fight worth more....ggg would be in position to demand more than what kova got....and everyone understands that except you excuse makers

It just amazes me how hard you guys try to find new ways to criticize GGG. I'm not even a fan of GGG, I'm just offended by the ******ity of these topics.

So the new rule is you can't take on guys with titles in lower weight divisions? Is that the rule you are proposing?

Also, fighters aren't supposed to do what is good for their career or take paydays because it might deprive Spence of a title down the line?

Seriously, see a doctor. I think your estrogen levels might be a bit high. This is like henpecking, not even cheerleading.

Bit of an easy one but I'll credit you anyway. The money pit (1986) starring the great Tom Hanks.

i understand where you're coming from, but then again mayweather-golovkin fight also wouldn't be a problem for you since money said he's easy work,no special effects?

It amazes me how GGG Stans find new ways to defend his BS. A WW fighting a WW in a unification is better for the sport than a WW fighting a MW for a cash grab. This isn't even up for discussion yet you're trying to defend it.

It was a cash grab, call it what it was.

You need to see the doctor. You're the one getting so triggered by GGG topics you say you aren't going to open anymore GGG topics. What's wrong with you? Why are you taking criticisms of GGG personally?
