Yeah, it came on too early for me. Me and my girl was out and about the entire day, so I watched it the next morning. It was hard not viewing my text messages and automatic news feeds on my phone for the whole day because I didn't want to know who won before seeing the fight for myself. It was a beautiful day too in Detroit, MI too. Too nice of a day to be watching a fight. Fights should come on at night, but I understand the different time zones makes it difficult sometimes.

Peterson? Hell no! Could barely beat Felix Diaz! Couldn't even beat Khan in reality despite being on PEDs! Unless he's back on PEDs, what's the point, and even then he still hasn't proven he can beat anyone legitimately! Matthysse knocked him out! Would Matthysse-Spence be competitive? No! So why the fook would Spence-Peterson?
Either Mikey Garcia, Terence Crawford, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather, or any of the 154 champs would be good fights. That's like 10 different options they have, but they want to bring up Lamont ****ing Peterson? Are you ****ing kidding me? Even Amir Khan would be better than that.
DEAR STEVEN ESPINOZA, AS A SHOWTIME SUBSCRIBER, I DO NOT WANT TO SEE PETERSON VS TOP GUYS SINCE HE'S PROVEN HE CAN'T LEGITIMATELY BEAT ANY OF THEM EVEN WHEN HE'S ON SYNTHETIC TESTOSTERONE. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THAT FIGHT. THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD OPTIONS, PETERSON IS NOT ONE OF THEM.

I don't give a fk about ratings but my question is how long does showtime keep putting up big money for boxing when their numbers are horrific. Not just for this show but a lot,of their Saturday night shows do 300-600 k ratings which are not good at all.
They should just put all the big fights on CBS at this point if they want ad revenue and viewers tuning in.

To be honest, people just wasn't watching a fight at 5pm on Memorial Day Weekend. I rode past the park and it was thousands celebrating at the park and when I got on the highway, it was a traffic jam on I-75 going up north in Michigan for the long Holiday weekend. Good thing I was going South on I-75. lol. I had to watch this fight the next day because me and my girl was enjoying the day. There was a lot going on that day. That would be like putting Canelo vs. Chavez Jr. on at 5pm. During that weekend there was all kinds of stuff going on during the day. Not many people going to miss the Cinco De Mayo parades for a fight, regardless of race and ethnicity. These are the kinds of fights that people love to watch after a day of partying, eating and drinking and want to end it with a night of watching boxing, eating and drinking.
