Because Mcgregor isn't good enough, he says. So maybe they use that intentionally to prod MMA fans who want to believe he's good enough, and want to watch the fight even more to prove Oscar wrong.

I mean, I really don't know. All I know is Oscar is constantly promoting Mayweather-Mcgregor by mentioning it all the time, going on ESPN to talk about it, writing an open letter about it, etc etc, while Dana White has talked about GGG-Canelo multiple times as well. It certainly seems like they are helping each other, cross promoting, working with each other while pretending to be enemies. What do you guys think? Crazy conspiracy theory, or is this basically how it works in a billion dollar industry like combat sports? All the big players work together to maximize profit, create fake beefs to maximize profit, etc?

Maybe Al and Bob are actually best friends too??
Dawg I know a fake beef when I see one, and Oscar-Mayweather is in no way at all a fake beef.

Sure it's mostly one sided since Mayweather barely ever mentions Oscar, but Oscar really really hates that guy, that or he has a major crush on him (I mean it's possible right, guy dresses like a girl and stuff).

Lmao! All that aside though, am I the only one who almost spit out my intestines from laughter as I read this article? Lol, this downright the funniest shieeet Oscar has produced yet, and hez produced A LOT!

He put Matthysse in with some good opponents. Who else does he have? And yet he didn't try to preserve the record of every name guy he has the way Haymon does, even though Oscar has way less name guys! So it's doubly impressive.

You have to give massive credit for that. I just can't forgive him for waiting too long on the GGG fight. Unless GGG's prime is going to last through age 37, 38, Oscar basically ruined GGG's career by delaying the Canelo fight, and thus the move up to 168, by two years when GGG doesn't have time left in his prime for that. We could have seen a lot more legacy fights of GGG if he hadn't been stuck waiting around at 160 for Canelo the last two years.

Of course, he could have said **** Canelo, and I'm if there had been a Floyd or Pacquiao type star at 168 he would have, but 168 has been the least star division in boxing the last couple years. It's too bad GGG didn't come to America sooner, maybe we could have gotten GGG vs Adonis Stevenson at 168 when Stevenson was at 168 lol. That would have been a hell of a matchup. Stevenson probably would have turned it down but still.
Haymon is protecting his name fighters?

He's put multiple fighters in fights they weren't favorited. The top guys in is stable (ratings wise) have been taking loses for the last 18 months or so.

For example, he just put his best MW in with GGG.

I can see why Kovalev or Khan are hated. De La Hoya was wearing heels. What's wrong with Shawn Porter?

I wish Oscar had put Linares in with Mikey Garcia! By the way, Haymon made a deal with K2 (Daniel Jacobs) before Oscar did. In fact GBP was much better under Schafer!

You might need to go to rehab with Oscar bro.

Porter? Who hates Porter? Like 4 guys? Kovalev is a ****head & most likely a legit racist, but idk that enough people even know him to be this high on the list. I think Ward is more disliked then Kovalev largely cuz people do know him more & he does too much goofy sh^t that fans don't appreciate.

And Floyd is for sure #1 even if he's retired, semi-retired or not even retired anymore. Floyd is one of the most hated boxers of all time.

Oscar is a PROMOTER.....This is FREE PROMOTION for his upcoming PPV. He gets to let everyone know that a big boxing event is coming up, and after Floyd completely out performs Connor while a lot of future athletes decide to check out boxing because they see a boxer beating the hell out of a MMA guy, and maybe they will be interested in seeing a BIG boxing PPV and in turn helps boxing, but ITS A PPV so the people will actually get to decide.

That is just his personal list....i agree with him about shawn porter too. Shawn is a bum with conditioning and a horrible style. People b1tch about ward when shawn porter's style is 100 times worse. Also, the same people who hate floyd are in love with Kovalev, they're pretty much racist and hypocrites.
