If Oscar really wants to save boxing he should speak out against the Belt Organization that have 17 divisions and often more than 1 champion per division.

Why not work on consolidating the wba,c ibf and all these other crappy belts and have one belt?

Its funny that people act as if canelo wouldve fought mcgaygor, just because ****** delahoya is a cokehead who talks out his azz,& he did put on a snoozer last time out but at least it was a actual boxing match where both guys at least had a chance on paper, otherwise nobody would've bought it. This fight is a disgrace to boxing that will make that fight look like ali frasier. I find it hilarious how many mayweather fanbois will defend anything & everything he does. Imagine ali fighting ronda rousey & the outcome is the same. mayweather is a coward who is worshipped by fanbois who think boxing is about hit & dont be hit. That clown was the one who invented that qoute to justify his cowardly style of every fight putting peeps to sleep.

Ah fair enough. I overlooked that part. My bad dude I suggested go to rehab a few posts back.

Idk why anyone would go so far as to hate Porter. He seems like a really good dude. His style is kinda like a pro version of an amateur style doe. So his fights aren't as fun to watch as you tend to think they could be cuz he smothers his own best work + makes for an awkward flow for the fight typically. But I can't say I hate him because of that.

Canelo vs Chavez Jr was a money grab that turned people off of boxing. The fight got a ton of PPV buys but all those buyers were left feeling unsatisfied and disappointed.

Oscar should just shut up and stop being a hypocrite.

lol There's hypocrisy on both sides.

Oscar tried to make Conor vs Canelo when he first heard McGregor was jumping over to the boxing world, however, Floyd also once bashed Ring Magazine for putting Ronda Rousey on the cover, stating that it doesn't say much about the state of boxing if an MMA fighter gets put on the cover... Yet he's the one who's actually gonna step into the damn ring to fight one.

Anyway, I don't think it really damages boxing's credibility any. You can say it's a joke fight in terms of competitiveness, but the only way boxing's reputation suffers is if McGregor ends up defeating Floyd.

Oscar probably giving more publicity to the fight; no such thing as negative attention
