bob arum confirmed to dan rafael, and was quoted as such, that floyd agreed to fight margarito for 8 mil....but floyd wanted future guarantees for hatton and cotto fights...which bob wouldnt meet....the difference between what floyd wanted and what bob would guarantee total was about 6 mil.....mere peanuts to what floyd would go on to make.....bob didnt think floyd had it in him...f.loyd walked....and bob said nice things...even "we will prob work together in the future"....bob thought floyd was going to use top rank to help promote his fights like he ended up doing with golden boy....when he used golden boy instead bob flipped and starting trashing floyd
I guess to some people the most interesting thing to talk about are hypothetical ways in which a boxer who has been retired for two years could have been defeated.

You lost so much credibility when you say Floyd almost lost to oscar. That's is like a casual on facebook comment. The fight wasn't even close it was easily 8-4 mayweather. Tell me which rounds delahoya won?
You can fantasize about floyd-margarito all you want, and come up with different results but call fights that happened the way they happened.
Aside from Castillo I, most fights really didn't come close and that includes Maidana I.
What do you think the result of Cotto-Marg I had they both have plaster of paris? Yeah, cotto would break margos face first.
Then why did Floyd Sr. say that De La Hoya beat his son?
Margarito was the only guy the catchweight King Manny moved up to fight without draining the life out of him beforehand. That should tell you something
