I think he's lowballing it. And rightfully so. I think 2M is worst case scenario.

I think this fight could do 5M, 6M. There are just too many mfers who are interested in this fight who aren't even combat sports fans at all. Its the most mainstream fight of all time already I think.

I mean all they gotta do is keep those cats interested enough to throw down $100 on one night this year or early next year & its 5M+ buys, half a billion in revenue right there.

I was shocked Floyd vs Manny did 4M+ lol. I didn't think that seemed reasonable when I heard that number getting thrown around after the fight.

Now that I know Floyd vs Manny did that much business & this fight feels bigger with the mainstream audience I feel like it for sure can do bigger numbers then Floyd vs Manny. I know people that have never bought any combat sports PPV, boxing or MMA, & who've never talking about or shown an interest in boxing or MMA who are talking about this fight. This is just more headline grabbing from two fading stars..hoping to cash in as much as possible and stay media relevant.
Even if Nayweather does lace up against Mcgregor, it will be the usual safety first defensive fight from the money man. His original goal of equalling Rocky Marciano's record was at first laudable, but fighting a half shot fighter with little risk when there were ten far more challenging fighters to choose from. This sealed Floyd's mindset that he lives in a bubble and did not have the balls to put it on the line towards the end.
Just because you have big names on your resume does not make you great. ODLH beat Chavez, but no one would dare assume it was a fair match up.

Dana White is a compulsive liar - just another example of him being full of ****. On one hand he's saying Conor's side is done, agreed and put a bow on it... then he's saying financial terms haven't been discussed. Does he think Conor is just going to sign a blank contract in good faith? Money is the biggest part of this fight - neither side is done until it's agreed on.

Conor an Dana could WANT 50-50, but that doesn't mean anything. I want 5 minutes alone to put a beating on Dana the MMA cancer, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna get it.

It will do big numbers but it's too much of a mismatch to do those kind of numbers.

I don't see it beating Mayweather-Pacquaio.

My guess is about 3 million.
