Good move by Canelo. this phony belt was made by the WBC just so they could get their beaks wet with the Canelo vs Chavez fight. It is a useless, pointless belt just made-up in order to get sanctioning fees.

Crooked WBC looking like chumps tried to suck Canelo's dyck to try to be apart of the Chavez fight. Glad he told them to phuk off. They can stick that ****** belt anywhere nobody cares about it. WBC trying to beg to be a apart of the GGG fight too but that won't be on the line either. LMAO

I actually like this move by Canelo, dude stood by his word, and the Boxing world certainly doesn't need any more BS trinkets, especially not for such a pointless fight. That said, the original beef was over Canelo being stripped for failing to fulfil his mandatory commitments, I believe, so I'm not really convinced his anger is justified.

The WBC should have kept that belt in case Mayweather vs McGreggor goes down next Cinco de Mayo, then awarded it to Floyd after he wins.

By then Canelo will have lost to GGG, and seeing his buddy Floyd annointed as the "Cinco de Mayo King" would surely make him feel a little better..

WBC is like a thirsty Canelo groupie right now.
They tried to get this ****** special belt made for the Chavez Jr. fight. Now they are begging to be part of this fight.
Canelo showing those paper titles don't mean **** to him. He is still lineal and will be after he beats BBB side.

Belt looks pretty, but definitely not worth a sanctioning fee.

So why did he pay sanctioning fees to the WBC for their belt twice when he fought Cotto and Khan?

He would have saved himself a lot of money and hassle if he'd told the WBC he wasn't interested in their title right from the start.

Canelo and Oscar are making this crap up as they go along. It's got to the stage where I don't believe a word either of them say.

well, you are fkn wrong !

                      cool story bro

Canelo, who at the time was occupied with a legal battle in Miami, vacated the title and turned his back on the sanctioning body when they set a date for a purse bid and refused to postpone it...... Canelo also felt that the WBC made disparaging statements that made it appear as if he was afraid of facing Golovkin

                      statements that were obviously untrue

you wrote that Canelo was stripped, because you like seeing this situation in that light..... but yea, cool story bro

also, it is REAL easy to completely forget about the fact that Team Bullshht were obviously using the WBC to manipulate Canelo..... isn't it?

yea, lets just forget all about that

and it is also real easy to forget that despite using the "middleweight doe" excuse to refuse a catchweight, Golovkin also refused to negotiate on weight AFTER Canelo vacated..... proving that the "middleweight doe" excuse was bullshht

jeez, when will this bullshht stop
