That is an extremely long camp. I Wonder if anyone can inform if this is usual for Canelo?

I mean his camp was the same for JCC...he does weight work and conditioning for first few weeks, focusing on building muscle. Doesnt start sparring until 8 weeks out...so pretty typical imo

That makes sense but the conditioning part is usually rolled into the actual training camp. Pretty sure it's still possible to overtrain when you are constantly running weeks before your training camp even begins. According to Abel Sanchez Gennady is not even jogging yet

Sure, but Canelo is 26. He's still growing and getting stronger. LLLenady is 35 - he ain't getting bigger and he has to be MUCH more mindful about rest and etc.
