picking winners is NOT how bookies make a living , it might be how a small time bookie from the street is doing it , but surely not the big boyz.
Good knowledge... Thanks for the education.

"We are already training, running, and we'll go to Los Angeles in the month of July. We will be there for all of July, August and from there that will take us to September," said Reynoso to ESPN Deportes.
That makes sense but the conditioning part is usually rolled into the actual training camp. Pretty sure it's still possible to overtrain when you are constantly running weeks before your training camp even begins. According to Abel Sanchez Gennady is not even jogging yet

there are fighters who do light training ie jogging to stay in shape all year long. Plus Canelo is only 26 not old like GGG lol Again it's really semantics anyway the real training camp doesn't start till July when they go to LA.

Maybe they never heard of over-training. That'd be the worst thing Canelo could do for this fight. GGG is 35 years old and only does 8 weeks of camp.

I do remember Floyd doing a couple 3 month camps late in his career though..but he was like 37+ and said he did it because he was older now so he needed to get up sooner than before.

but if you want to blame canelo for doing tests 2 months before the fight, then you also have to blame ggg for doing it 3 or 4 weeks before the fight...

                      Canelo getting ready early..............

Canelo will spend June running and then start an 8-9 week camp getting ready for GGG. This is a smart move because by keeping your conditioning near peak level your whole camp will be sharpening your tools as opposed to spending half the time getting in shape and cutting weight. Canelo will be stronger come fight time by not draining himself to make 160 lbs. Canelo should be at 160lbs 30 days out from the fight.
